Jeremy has a best friend. His name is Oro and he has Downs Syndrome. No one wants to play with Oro and even Jeremy's mother thinks he should play with other children. She doesn't feel Oro can be a real friend. One day, Jeremy does a foolish thing. He goes to the river alone. Suddenly, his foot slips and he falls into the water. As he struggles to get out, someone reaches down and grabs his shirt. It is Oro. Now, Oro is a hero and Jeremy has a friend to walk to school with every day!
